The motion of some superchess pieces

• A little arch in a square of a diagram indicates that the piece in question may leap to that square, i.e., that it may cross an occupied square. Except the X, any superchess piece cannot leap farther than to the second square (crossing the occupied first square). The X, or X-ray, may leap over any number of squares: It may "do the long jump".
• A little open circle indicates that the piece may move to this square only without capturing.
• A little cross (or multiplication sign) indicates that the piece may move to this square only when capturing a piece on that square.
• Any piece cannot capture any other piece of the same colour.
